Tales of Arise is an anime role-playing game newly released on September 10. Currently, there is a free demo available for players to enjoy. You can experience an action-packed adventure full of quests and fast-paced combat. One aspect of a game that can ruin this experience for players is having to run from location to location without being able to teleport or increase your speed. Thankfully, Tales of Arise has a fast travel system that solves this problem, but it is not immediately available for you to use. By the end of this guide, you will learn how to unlock fast travel in Tales of Arise.
How to Fast Travel in Tales of Arise
To unlock fast travel, you will need to complete the quest Battle Preparations. If you do not have access to this quest yet, you will need to progress further into the main story. Once you begin Battle Preparations, you will need to visit Fagan Ruins. You will need to explore the ruins and look for Renan equipment. Travel through the ruins and Storage Block floors, engaging in combat along the way. Once you find the equipment, you will be prompted to return to Zephyr back in Ulzebek. This will mark the end of Battle Preparations, and the start of the next quest.
Once you have completed Battle Preparations, you can open your world map and select the location you want to travel to. These spots will appear as a green circle on your map. If an area does not have a green marker, you will be unable to fast travel to that exact location. You will need to visit an area at least once to unlock the fast travel marker for it. Throughout certain times in the main storyline, there may be locations that you cannot access.
