Upon arriving in Messia 224, Tales of Arise players have the opportunity to accept Sub-Quest “Hard Liquor” from a Woodcutter Man. The NPC needs Earth Seeds x4 to brew some alcohol to fend off the frosty cold. Completing this quest will reward players with 700 Gald, 135 SP, and the Lohikeitto recipe. This particular meal is undoubtedly helpful in Tales of Arise, as it increases the resource drop rate from enemies for a 4-minute duration. Where to Find Earth Seeds in Tales of Arise
The location for Earth Seeds in Tales of Arise is Ulvhan Grotto. It’s a dank cavernous area where Ropers can be found, the enemy that drops Earth Seeds. Players should have passed through Ulvhan Grotto along the way to Messia 224. If they didn’t collect enough Earth Seeds from the Ropers before, they need to return and farm more.
While walking from Messia 224 to Ulvhan Grotto should only take a few minutes, it’s much quicker to fast travel straight to the grotto’s entrance in the White Silver Plains. After gathering enough Earth Seeds in Tales of Arise, players can head back to the Woodcutter in Messia 224 and complete the Hard Liquor quest. Players who have any Earth Seeds leftover can use them to forge the Ground Fang. It’s a weapon powered by earth astral energy that can be equipped by Alphen. To craft the Ground Fang, players will need Earth Seeds x2 and Sharp Fangs x6. Players can acquire the fangs by traveling to the White Silver Plains and slaying beasts (Wolves, Hawks, and Berserkers).
