Monster Hunter 4G is the re-release enhanced edition of Monster Hunter 4 in Japan and it is set to receive it’s very own unique 3DS LL.
Hot on the heels of the recent new Nintendo 3DS announcement, the upcoming Monster Hunter 4G will be bundled in with a special version of the new Nintendo 3DS LL. The 3DS LL as it is called, is the XL version of the new 3DS which features enhanced 3D capabilities and a c-stick. They are both set to release in Japan on October 11th.
Monster Hunter 4G or Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate in the west, is an updated version of Monster Hunter 4 and will feature more monsters than the previous entry. Monster Hunter 4G will feature 22 small, and 66 large monsters for a total of 88. The previous release only featured 20 small and 52 large monsters. It adds a decent amount of content and due to the rabid popularity of the Monster Hunter franchise in Japan it is no surprise why they wouldn’t bundle the console with the new release of the game.
No word yet on a western release of this bundle but one can hope. Monster Hunter 4G and the new Nintendo 3DS LL is set to release in Japan on October 11th.
