These days it isn’t surprising to see video games making their way to other forms of media. Recently, we were talking about how a lot of the PlayStation exclusives are getting the TV-show treatment. Games like Horizon and God of War. Some others are getting an anime adaptation. One of them is Nier Automata. However, there is yet another game that will make its way to the TV. The survival game Grounded. It is official now that the game will see its way to the big screen. Well, maybe the same size, but you get the idea.
Grounded Game Will Have Its Own TV Show
Adapted by one of Star Wars: The Clone Wars‘ writers, the survival game Grounded will transition to TV. This is something that no one really expected. It is fun because this game has not been technically released yet. However, people or some companies seem to like the setting enough to make it a TV show. This survival game, Grounded was announced way back, and people liked it. It was another take on the survival genre that put kids in a backyard fighting insects instead of monsters. This is something that people who watched Honey, I shrunk the kids, could get behind.
The game has had great reviews. The systems, the setting, and the big developer behind it. Obsidian. For those of you who have not played the survival game Grounded, you should. Why? Obsidian has been in charge of developing unique RPGs such as Fallout: New Vegas. And while this game isn’t an RPG, that doesn’t mean it isn’t good. We already know that Obsidian is working on a new RPG that will release for the Xbox consoles. We still don’t have a lot of details, but everyone is hopeful. Meanwhile, people can keep playing this game to get a feeling of what Obsidian can do as a team.
