Sheik or Villager will allow you to unlock Yoshi fairly quickly.
Yoshi is one of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate starters in versus and classic mode, but if you want to unlock this character in World of Light you’re going to need to play a little bit of the Adventure Mode to unlock him. Yoshi can be had fairly early on in World of Light, but you’re going to have to choose either the Shiek’s Path or the Villager Path. Yoshi is located in between these two paths. You can get to him fairly quickly by heading down either of them.
Yoshi Location World of Light
As you can see from the map above, Yoshi is located pretty much in the middle between Sheik and Villager. You can easily link the two paths early on in World of Light. Yoshi’s exact location is on the pink ribbons at the above spot on the map. He’s surrounded by spirits, but once you bypass them you’ll have a shot at taking him down and adding him to your World of Light roster.
Once you reach Yoshi you will need to challenge him to a one versus one. If you win you will receive him as a playable character for World of Light and you can access him in the party menu immediately. You will also get quite a few Skill Spheres to use on leveling up your Skill Tree.
