It’s more than a button press away
While the finer points of combat in SSBU might feel daunting, the real challenge is figuring out the tiny pieces of the game that aren’t totally explained. One of these has come up as particularly frustrating for new players who dive right into the single player adventure mode: World of Light. Apparently it’s a bit tough to get back out once you’re done. Here’s how to exit World of Light in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
You may have tried everything you can think of, but the answer still eludes you. Mashing B doesn’t do anything, Plus/Start doesn’t bring up a menu to exit out of. So how do you exit? You have to hold B instead of just tapping it. Hold it down for a couple of seconds and you should get right back out to the Main Menu.
Similar to our guide on how to pick up items in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, this might seem obvious to longtime fans who are used to the eccentric menu choices from Nintendo. New players though have been having trouble with it, so hopefully this helps. World of Light is a very cool Adventure Mode for the series, so be sure to have some fun in there. And once you are finished just follow the step above to exit out.
