The Last of Us released about a year and a half ago to incredible critical acclaim, which led to an exceptional remaster earlier this year on PlayStation 4. While Naughty Dog has confirmed that a sequel is not coming anytime soon, if ever, we do know that a movie is in the works based on the movie. While talking about Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End with Game Informer in a video, The Last of Us director Neil Druckmann also gave a little bit of an update on the movie itself in a smaller accompanying video....

In a bit of surprising news, The Outer Worlds is set to be released on the Nintendo Switch. The Switch version is set for release sometime after it releases on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25th. Private Division is the publisher, and Obsidian Entertainment is the developer of the game. Originally a sector of Take-Two, Private Division is a new publishing label made to help smaller and more independent studios....

The Sims 4’s next stuff pack is just in time for Valentine’s Day. The game’s Romantic Garden stuff pack will be released on Feb. 9, allowing players to create beautiful and romantic gardens. As a stuff pack, the Romantic Garden set adds, well, stuff. There’s new flowers, objects, hairstyles, and clothes. Fountains, columns, and wishing wells are up for grabs, too. Beware of what your sims wish for in the wishing well, though: EA says that it holds a serious power....

Jonathan Blow’s The Witness has been highly anticipated as he was the mind behind the indie classic Braid. Being what seemed like a small indie title, many suspected a lower price point, likely around $20. However, today Blow has revealed that the game will cost $40, which might shock some, but indicates that the game has evolved and grown to become something worthy of the higher price point. The Witness is a first person puzzle adventure, putting players onto a mysterious island full of structures that must be worked out in order to proceed....

Ahead of Fortnite’s latest update, the Epic Games team shut off the game servers. The maintenance suddenly happened tonight, and the team has announced that they will not return until sometime in the early morning. The maintenance is preparing for update 22.10, expected to drop in the early morning of October 4. The announcement of the servers going down happened shortly after 5 PM ET on the Fortnite Status page....

Nightdive Studios and Koch Media announced on Tuesday that the long-awaited System Shock remake has been delayed to 2022. The companies also announced the game will now be published by Prime Matter, a division of Koch Media. In a press release, Nightdive Studios CEO Stephen Kick expressed a great deal of optimism towards the newly announced partnership. “Our goal has always been to deliver a game that is as close to perfect as we can make it,” said Kick....
