Version 13.0.1 is now available to download for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and with it the final fighters adjustment. After this update, the game will no longer be releasing patches to change how the characters play. At least, that is what Nintendo claims at this moment. Besides the final fighters adjustment, ver. 13.0.1 also adds Amiibo support for the Metroid Dread Samus and EMMI Amiibos. Tapping those Amiibos will give players access to their spirits in Ultimate, and the Metroid Dread Samus Amiibo can be used as a figure player as well....

Surviving Mars has today launched update 1.29 across all platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes in today’s patch! As you may have already guessed from the version number being a little random, today’s patch isn’t anything super interesting or flashy. Instead, the team at Paradox is looking to provide some solid fixes to the game. Last month, Kotaku U.K. suggested that a Spyro the Dragon HD trilogy remaster is on the way. And after initial speculation, a new tweet from Target implies that a new Spyro game, called Spyro Treasure Trilogy, might be out later this year. The news comes after someone asked Target on Twitter about when the “new Spyro” will be ready for pre-order. The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) is making moves to regulate loot boxes in videogames which will require publishers to disclose the odds of drop rates for loot boxes in Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft consoles. On the morning of Aug. 7, 2019, during the Federal Trade Commission’s “Inside the Game” workshop where they discussed loot boxes, Michael Warnecke, chief counsel of tech policy at the Entertainment Software Association, announced this move to disclose this information along with discussing passed attempts to address loot boxes such as: adding in-game purchase labels on retail titles, platform-level spending controls on consoles, and the EA Origin PC storefront....

The Final Fantasy XV demo could be one of the first demos ever to add a save option. Normally demos are too short to allow you to save your progress. The editor of Novacrystallis.com (MakuXV) tweeted out some interesting photos from a recent stream of the game. The photo showed the main menu for the Final Fantasy demo. It says: New Game, Load Game and Config. There was also a Debug Menu, although this won’t appear in the actual demo going out to the public....

The next Assassins Creed game will apparently be called Assassin’s Creed Mirage, according to YouTuber j0nathan. After years of waiting, the first official Uncharted movie trailer has finally been released despite a troubled production process. The Uncharted movie trailer introduces Tom Holland’s Nathan Drake as a young bartender where he meets a mustache-less Sully, played by Mark Wahlberg. From what is shown in the trailer, it looks like the classic duo is hunting for Magellan’s treasure. Sophia Ali will join Holland and Wahlberg as Drake’s love interest, Chloe Frazer, and the three of them will team up against the “bad guy” played by Antonio Banderas....

Telltale’s choice-and-consequences adventure game, The Wolf Among Us, is joined by Visceral Games horror shooter, Dead Space as the first free downloads of the month. The Wolf Among Us will be available to download free on the Xbox One through April 30. Meanwhile, Dead Space is free for Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners through April 15....

Sylvester Stallone, star of the original Demolition Man, has announced that a sequel is being made. While answering questions on Instagram, Stallone was asked about a potential sequel to 1993’s Demolition Man. “I think there is,” Stallone answered. Sadly, with the coronavirus, the film industry is suffering, and movies simply cannot be shot. If this will affect Demolition Man 2’s release date isn’t known considering we don’t know what stage the project is in....
